"I emailed HR three
weeks ago."
Three ways an HR team talks to the company, and all three are usually email: answering questions, telling people things, and asking people things. Here they are a queue with timers, an announcement with receipts, and a survey with a result.

One · Helpdesk
An inbox is not a queue.
Employee questions arrive in an inbox, get answered by whoever is looking, and vanish. Nobody knows how many arrived, which took longest, or which are still open — so HR cannot fix the cause or ask for help.
Categories with an owner
Payroll, statutory, records, assets, policy. Each category routes to the group that answers it, so a question about a PF deduction does not sit in a generalist queue for a week.
SLA timers that run
First response and resolution targets in hours, set per category. A breach is visible before the employee escalates it, not after.
Assignment and handover
A ticket has one owner at a time, a default per category, and a thread of comments. Internal notes are never returned to the person who raised it, and a ticket can be marked confidential.
A queue you can measure
Volume by category, time to first response, what is ageing. HR gets to argue for another pair of hands with numbers instead of an impression.

Told, and known to be told
'Nobody told me' stops being a defence.
An all-company email is a broadcast with no evidence attached. An announcement here knows exactly who it was addressed to, because the audience is a query over the org: this location, that department, those roles.
- Targeted, not broadcastSend to a location, a department, a role, or any combination. The night shift at the Pune plant does not need the Bengaluru fire drill notice.
- Read receiptsYou can see who has opened it and who has not, which turns a policy rollout into a list of eleven people to nudge rather than a hope.
- Scheduled and pinnedPublish at a time, pin it to the top, expire it on a date. The joining-day announcement is still on the board when the new hire signs in.
Revised travel policy · published 2 Sep
Sent to Sales and Customer Success across three locations. Pinned until 30 Sep.
The eleven are a list with names on it, so the reminder goes to eleven people rather than to everybody again.
Q3 pulse · anonymous
312 of 388Response rate is known. Responders are not. Those are two different tables.
Asking, properly
Anonymous means the answer is not joined to a person.
Most survey tools promise anonymity and store the responder alongside the response, one join away from a name. Here an anonymous response is written without the identity that submitted it. Participation is tracked separately, which is how the reminder still knows who to nudge.
- Pulse surveys and quick pollsA four-question monthly pulse or a one-question poll on the canteen menu. Same mechanism, different length.
- A dashboard per surveyResults, distribution and the response trend day by day, on a screen — not a CSV somebody charts in a spreadsheet and emails around.
- Small groups are not a loopholeSlicing results by a team of two is how anonymity leaks. On an anonymous survey, a segment with fewer than three responses is suppressed rather than shown.
Why all three are one module
They are the same audience, read three ways.
Tickets, announcements and surveys all address the same org: these locations, that department, those roles. Sharing the record means the audience is never re-typed, and a leaver disappears from all three the day they leave.
One org, three uses
The audience of an announcement, the routing of a ticket and the population of a survey are all queries over the same org tree, in the workspace's own timezone.
Learn moreThe same permissions
Who may read a ticket, publish to a location or open survey results are permission codes on roles. Nothing here is gated by job title or by convention.
Learn moreExports that are safe to open
Tickets export to CSV with SLA hours and a breach flag per ticket. Cells that a spreadsheet would read as a formula are neutralised, and every export is written to the audit log.
In the product
Tickets, and asking the company something.
